There’s nothing shy about Lithuanian born Freya Alley with her unique take on love gone wrong in her new single Party On My Own. It’s hard and fast and unapologetic, watch out Gaga, the competition has arrived!
Having moved to London in 2011 to pursue her music career Freya teamed up with songwriter Lawrence Hobbs from SAFO music group who has had numerous chart successes with the likes of Sam Smith and Pixie Lott.
Taking her inspiration from nature she describes her music as atmospheric, poetic and cinematic and judging by this release she will be force to be reckoned with.
Writing from the heart of unfulfilled dreams and the trappings of one’s own mind or the love that just won’t let go, it’s deep but relatable for those who live and lose yet still come out fighting.
Party On My Own is a song for the people and those who may spend St Valentine’s Day alone, in no way is this track downbeat and depressing it’ll uplift even the saddest hearts.
When you bring together Euro-Pop and Dance-Pop you get something truly inspired in the mix.
The accompanying video to this track is a blend of creative influences that when combined becomes unashamedly near pop perfection. This is a club classic in the making.
No word as yet to a forthcoming album release but this is definitely something to keep on the radar. Live dates are set for later this year, see website for details.
