Singer songwriter Esco Williams is going to banish the January blues with a special one off hometown performance.
Esco began at the age of 17 with the Sense of Sound Choir, which inspired him to start writing his own material.
The self-confessed geek combined his love of music and gaming to create a unique sound mixing R’n’B influences with his favourite retro video games.
The Liverpudlian songwriter’s leaked track Dreamin’ was playlisted on 1XTRA and the artist has since become a favourite on FLAVA TV and Channel AKA.
His sound was picked up by the MOBO UnSung competition in 2012, which led to the independent release of his track New Challenger. The singer has since opened for Dead Prez and RZA as well as touring with Vince Kidd.
Esco has recently been spending time in the studio and has hinted on his Facebook page that we can expect to hear some new material at his upcoming show at the East Village Arts Club on January, 25.
Last year his headline show at the Liverpool 02 Academy was a sell-out.
