Following their acclaimed shows at the Fiesta Obscenic fundraiser and a set at Mello Mello for Sound City, Emily and the Faves play at the Static Gallery on Friday 17th June.
Staged to mark the release of the band’s highly anticipated debut LP, the group have assembled a highly impressive bill for the launch night.
The Faves self-titled album features tracks the band have amassed over the past two years following EP and single releases.
Led by Emily Lansley on vocals and guitar, the band also comprises drummer Andy Delamere and bassist/occasional guitarist Andy Frizell as core members.
Dealing in summery psychedelic pop tunes with an edge provided by Emily’s innovative guitar tones, the LP is being released through the band’s own Respectable Horse Records label.
Acclaimed psychedelic folk group Stealing Sheep, who Emily also plays guitar with are amongst the support acts on the night, the gig forming part of their lengthy UK tour.
Liverpool/London garage rockers It’s Murder Beams make a rare live outing in the city, with mesmerizing psych garage courtesy of The Wild Eyes to complete the line-up.
Following the album release the band are playing at the Rebellion Festival in Blackpool with a UK tour lined up for September.
Emily and the Faves album launch Friday 17th June, Static Gallery, 23 Roscoe Lane. Tickets OTD.
