One of the greatest songwriting talents to emerge in 2011, Emeli Sandé is pleased to announce her first ever headline tour this November.
The six shows in intimate venues across the UK will give fans the opportunity to see Emeli in memorable surroundings as well as hear her incredible voice up close.
Following her huge collaboration with Chipmunk, Diamond Rings, Sande is making waves with her first solo single.
Emeli’s debut single Heaven has been championed across the board by media and remained at number 1 on the Shazam chart for over 5 weeks.
The Sunday Times Culture magazine said of the track, ‘What sums Sandé up is her voice, even more than that, her songs, ‘This has to be great’ was how she put it. And it is.’
As one of the freshest debut singles of 2011, Heaven is both contemporary and timeless, a euphoric feel good summer track packed with lavish strings, bombastic horns and trip hop beats all combined with Emeli’s subtle yet soaring vocal.
