UK singer-songwriter Charlie Brown is gearing up to release his second single, Bones, following on from the huge chart success he had with his debut single On My Way.
The track will be released on 13th October and was co-written by Adam Midgley – a writer with an incredible list of collaborators including Cee-Lo Green, Talib Kweli and Olly Murs.
The track itself is a soulful party banger, combining deeply resonating lyrics with an addictive chorus that will be dominating the airwaves.
Charlie’s exceptional vocal range is still ever-present and is complimentary to a club-worthy beat and familiar but soothing synth arrangement.
Bones has continued to exemplify Charlie’s credibility as an organic artist but also prove his malleability within the popular music scene.
This year Charlie Brown has made the leap from behind the scenes songwriter to a full fledged pop star gaining an army of fans and wowing music critics and the industry with his talent, charm and charisma.
A year ago he didn’t have a record deal and the past 12 months have been a whirlwind for London based Charlie.
Performing to over 200,000 people this summer, he has played at venues that many established artists can only dream of; from Wembley Stadium alongside Justin Timberlake to Wireless, Isle of Wight Festival and London’s Hyde Park alongside Jennifer Lopez.
Charlie will soon embark on a promotional tour both in the UK and internationally for new single Bones where he will showcase his live performance which he has been honing over the last few months alongside some big acts.
Having already toured with Craig David after being personally invited, these live tour dates will give Charlie the opportunity to debut some of the tracks from his album ‘Dreamstate’ which will be released early next year.
Speaking of his recent success, Charlie said:“The last few months have been absolutely amazing and I’ve had a wicked time performing to and meeting so many of my fans.
“Bones was the perfect track to release following on from On My Way and the feedback from people so far has been amazing.”
