Brandon Flowers has created a hot fuss this week by releasing details of his first UK solo tour.

Having just completed a world tour with The Killers, the singer has decided against a life of lie-ins and watching Loose Women in the afternoon to go it alone and pursue a solo career.

The Killers frontman has announced a string of dates throughout mid-October following the release of his first Solo album, Flamingo, on September 6th.

Little has been heard of the new album with the singer keeping his material under wraps, but Flowers has been Smiling like he means it since his debut single, Crossfire, got into the Top 10.

Accompanied by a new backing band, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and London will all play hosts to Flowers who will end his tour in Birmingham’s HMV institute on October 18th.

Tickets for the shows are set to go on sale this Friday (September 3rd). However members of The Killers fanclub The Victims will be able to purchase selected tickets from Wednesday (September 1st).
