Three years after his latest album ‘Misplaced’, Swedish musician and producer boerd (Bård Ericson) returns with ‘Caution: Fragile’ – a journey through melancholic soundscapes, pulsating triphop grooves and melodies that makes you want to lean back and reflect.

Throughout the eight tracks we hear Bård playing a variety of instruments and exploring new sounds, as well as collaborations with some of Sweden’s most interesting vocalists: Stella Explorer, Venus Anon and Skator. For the song ‘Stay’, Bård recorded with a full string orchestra, where he also played double bass himself. He’s no stranger to the world of classical music – when he’s not creating his own songs, Bård works full time as a bass player in some of Sweden’s finest orchestras: The Royal Philharmonic, The Royal Opera and Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.

“Listening to the album now, and looking back at the time when it was created, I feel like it captures the moment where you start to come back from a dark place, when you see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s usually at that turning point I find inspiration for my music.” – Bård Ericson

‘Caution: Fragile’ is Bård’s 6th solo album. The last two were released by british label Anjunadeep and received over 25 million streams and wide global recognition, with support from BBC Radio1, Billboard, Mixmag, Clash Magazine and The Line of Best Fit, to name a few. For his new album, Bård has decided to release independently through his new label Blunda..
