Having already found success in the acting world with prominent roles in Netflix’s series ‘Ragnarok’ and NRK’s international phenomenon SKAM, singer and songwriter Theresa Frostad Eggesbø aka Resa is now looking to make her name in music as she delivers her warm and vibrant debut EP ‘Dumb And Numb’, out now via Toothfairy Music.

Featuring the previously shared singles ‘You Need A Puppy’, ‘Love Ain’t Free’ and ‘Borrowed Time’, all of which have found praise amongst the likes of Bands Of Tomorrow, Our Culture Mag and Norwegian outlet Subjekt, this new collection looks to cement her as one of the latest captivating artists that have been bellowing out of Norway in recent years.

Focused around the newly unveiled single ‘Sunday’, she showcases her more solemn side as she sweeps and swoons through feather-light synths and a haunting atmosphere, creating a soft yet tortured addition to her latest collection.

Speaking about ‘Sunday’, she added, “’Sunday’ is a tribute to female sexuality. Not because I think that my words represents a fixed template, but rather a celebration of the right to own/express it.”

After first falling in love with creating her own music while studying at the Liverpool Institute Of Performing Arts (LIPA), she has quickly grown from a humble appreciator of new ideas to a fully formed creative visionary in her own right. Combining classical and ethereal features with a very bold and dynamic production style, this new release sees her follow in the footsteps of artists like Aurora and Tove Lo with its soaring and diverse flow.

Produced collectively with notable offerings from Coucheron, Benjamin Giørtz, and NYLAN, ‘Dumb And Numb’ makes for the perfect introduction to an artist that still has plenty more to give in the near future.
