Headlining the Camp and Furnace were DMA’s, the three piece rock band from Australia.
The band have a nostalgic aura with Tommy O’Dell’s vocals sounding like butter. They mesmerised the crowd with songs such as ‘Do I Need You Now?’ And ‘Break Me’ which sent everyone’s arms in the air in complete amazement.
Courteous and charming, the Australian lads make you feel like all the things you were missing have been found in the lyrics of their songs. Such a delight that would be like holding an ice cream and being okay with it melting down your arm.
Their song ‘Lazy Love’ demonstrating their depth of talent with lyrics as ‘Love is a violence that keeps me ticking // Take it from me this life’s a reason to make my mind insane.”
The DMA’s played tracks from their new album released on the 28th April ‘For Now’ – the crowd sung back the words despite it being released less than a week. This confirms the dedication of the following the DMA’s have gained so far whilst taking on Europe.
Their next gig is at the Oxford O2 Academy on the 10th May. If you go then do take tissues! (for your eyes)
