With Love from Liverpool: John Bishop and BBC’s Janice Long to host fundraising concert for British Red Cross and refugees

After the disheartening, recent events surrounding the refugee crisis, Liverpool Sound City have announced a concert in aid of raising as much money as possible for the British Red Cross. They’re committed to working to provide shelter and help to the thousands of refugees travelling all across Europe.

It’s been announced that highly acclaimed comedian John Bishop and BBC Radio 2 broadcaster Janice Long will hose this special one-off concert that will be taking place at the Echo Arena Liverpool on Saturday 19th September 2015.

Liverpool Sound City have announced the news that the following artists will be performing, with more still to come:

The Farm
Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark
John Power
Space the Band
The Icicle Works
Nell Bryden
Sense of Sound Choir

Tickets are £25, with all proceeds going to the British Red Cross.
