Yes, it’s that time of year. Festival season is upon us again and what better way to celebrate than a weekend in Welsh seaside resort Abersoch, to attend Europe’s largest wakeboard music festival.
With temperatures reaching above 21C, be prepared to be blown away by a world-class lineup of bands and DJs, amazing atmosphere and thrilling wakeboarding competitions.
Wakestock will be welcoming in over 15,000 music fans and a Purple Revolver team will be attending the festival to provide you with the best coverage.
Tonight’s highlights…
Lucy Spraggan best known for her appearance on the X Factor will be tearing up the East Stage at 18:25, to bring a mixture of acoustic, folk and hip-hop sounds. We are excited to be singing along to ‘Last Night’ and ‘Tea and Toast’.
Switzerland’s finest DJ Cyril Hahn returns to the decks, performing on the South Stage at 00:00. Stripping down reputable R&B tunes, adding an atmospheric twist, be set to catch some eerie Destiny’s Child and Jessie Ware remixes from the DJ wunderkind.
Last but not least, the act everyone’s excited for, headliner Bastille are bringing their live show to the East stage at 22:50. The crowd pleaser will be sure to get fans going with their chart stopper Pompeii.
