Winter may be fast approaching, but 2017 isn’t over yet. Here are some of the best artists that you can see live over the next few months.

From bubble gum pop to hard rock and old favourites, there is a gig for everyone to let their hair down and appreciate the great music that’s visiting us in the north.

1. The Libertines

This month the Can’t Stand Me Now singers are hitting Pyramid and Parr Hall, Warrington, to
promote their newest album, ‘Anthems for Doomed Youth.’ Fronted by rock legend Pete Doherty,
this is sure to be a gig full of belting anthems that shouldn’t be missed.

2. Liam Gallagher

The one and only Liam Gallagher will be performing at Manchester Arena on the 16 Th December later
this year. All the Charlie Bucket’s out there who managed to get hold of one of these golden tickets
will be in for the gig of a life time with him playing a mixed bag of new and old material. Gallagher is
one of the growing group of artists who are trying to clamp down on ticket touts who go on to sell
tickets for extortionate prices. He recently tweeted ‘More tickets are coming back on sale, we are
enforcing a limited per person and cancelling any multiple purchases.’

3. Rise Against

To celebrate the success of their latest album, ‘Wolves’, the hardcore 4-piece are embarking on their
UK tour, and are making a stop at Manchester. On the 2 nd November they are due to rock the 02
Apollo, which have fans excited as this is a band known for having one of the best live sets in rock.

4. Mayday Parade

You’re lying yourself if you deny the fact you were obsessed with this band when you were about
fourteen. Mayday Parade, albeit slightly quieter over the last couple of years, are giving fans what
they want and are currently on their ‘A Lessons in Romantics: 10 Year Anniversary Tour’. They are
playing Manchester Academy this month, playing classics like ‘Miserable at Best’ and ‘Jamie All
Over.’ If you want to relive your youth with some amazing songs, get yourself some tickets.

5. Jessie J
A gig a really want to go to. So badly. The powerhouse is gracing Manchester Albert Hall on the 9 th
October this year. After the release of her new material – which is a different sound- fans are excited
to hear her perform the songs live. With having one of the best voices on the planet – this is no
doubt going to sell out quickly. Tickets are due for sale tomorrow (19 th September) Get them quick
snap!

6. Becky Hill

An amazing yet slightly underrated artist – Becky Hill will be performing at Manchester Gorilla on the
18 TH October. Seeing her live myself, this girl could sing the alphabet and it would choke me up a bit.
Such a stunning voice with a mix of songs, some club anthems that you can’t help but dance to and
beautiful songs full of emotion. It may be on a smaller scale, but if there’s one must-go gig of the
year, this might just be the one.

7. Little Mix

Last on the list is this fun addition. The biggest girl band around will be heading to
Manchester for three dates, 20 TH October, 21 st and 22 nd November. With some of the
catchiest songs that are impossible not to sing along with, this would make a great gig for
fans of the feisty foursome.
