Among other names added today include rising hip hop artist 070 Shake as well as two of the most interesting and hotly-tipped Finnish musicians Jesse Markin and Maustetytöt.

Flow Festival’s newest booking are early-noughties alt-rock gods The Strokes. Catching the New York five piece play live in Europe is a rarity, so Flow are delighted to be welcoming one of the festival’s most requested acts this summer. Having first hit the big time with their debut album Is This It in 2001, the band brought the 60s garage rock sound into the 21st century and had a major impact on the music of the millennium. Join them at Flow for their first ever Finnish performance!

Also confirmed for Flow is New Jersey’s 070 Shake, whose eagerly awaited debut album dropped last month and put her in the well-deserved spotlight. 070 Shake first came to people’s attention when she was featured on Kanye West’s album ye, and has since worked with Pusha T, Nas and DJ Khaled among others. The wonderful Jesse Markin, who’s been making waves on both the Finnish and international indie scene, and Maustetytöt, whose debut album was one of the most acclaimed and original records last year, will also be appearing.

These names join over 150 artists performing at the festival. including previously announced artists Bon Iver, Stormzy, FKA twigs, Michael Kiwanuka, Mac DeMarco, Bikini Kill, Chromatics, Koffee, Mabel, DJ Koze, Dixon, Gettomasa as well as Henrik! x Teksti-TV 666 – with much more to come.

Flow Festival is organized in the Suvilahti area of Helsinki during 14th-16th August 2020. All ticket types are on sale now in Ticketmaster and Tiketti.
