Shane MacGowan to play exclusive set at Feis Liverpool

Feis Liverpool, the UK’s biggest celebration of Irish music returns to Liverpool this Summer and early bird tickets are now sold out.

The event attracted thousands of revellers in its first year, and returns to Liverpool’s World Heritage Waterfront on Saturday 6th July with some of the biggest names in Irish music topping the bill.

The line-up includes an exclusive collaboration by headliners Shane MacGowan and Moving Hearts joined on stage by special guests Phil Coulter, Mundy, Eddie Furey and Christy Dignam.

Other acts on the bill include Paul Brady, The Chieftains, The Undertones, Mary Black, Flogging Molly, The Academic, The Dublin Legends (The Dubliners), Aslan, Hudson Taylor, Nathan Carter, The Fureys, The High Kings, Mary Coughlan, Hermitage Green, David Keenan, Touts, The Frank & Walters, The Eskies, Biblecode Sundays, Joshua Burnside, The Burma, The Kilkennys and The Cronins plus more to be announced.

Deputy Mayor and Cabinet Member for culture, tourism and events, Councillor Wendy Simon, said: “We are delighted to welcome Feis Liverpool back to the city. Last year’s event was an incredible day of live music which highlighted the longstanding close relationship between Liverpool and Ireland. It is a great time for the city musically with a number of exciting announcements to be made over the coming months which will further cement our worldwide reputation as a UNESCO City of Music”.

£100 VIP
£125 VIP with allocated seating
Free entry for under 12’s. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
