Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia unveils its second wave of artists to perform later this year.

The Heads, Cult Droners, British Space-psych and Hookworms join Factory Floor at the award winning two-day festival at Camp and Furnace.

Further excitement comes as organisers psychedelic icons the Brian Jonestown Massacre‘s Anton Newcombe will be performing as the festival’s first Artist in Residence. A performance that will come naturally for both the band and city’s having recorded here for several years.

Other acts joining the bill include Roy And The Devil’s Motorcycle, The Callas, The Megaphonic Thrift, The Octopus Project, Virginia Wing, Vision Fortune, and Zun Zun Egui, along with a host of artists from across the world.

With a full programme of visual arts, projections, film and additional kaleidoscopic delights will be announced over the coming weeks.

Organisers are also creating a wide expansion on the successfully introduced PZYK Gallery and Village from last year.

The event which celebrates artists at the forefront of today’s global psychedelic renaissance continues to grow in popularity, with tickets selling out last year; resulting in it being named the Best Small Festival at the NME Awards 2014.

Prices start from £50 with accommodation options available.
