Liverpool Music Week announce acts for their 2016 closing party

Liverpool Music Week are pleased to announce details of the notorious LMW16 Closing Party which is set to take place on 4th November at various venues across the newly revitalised North Liverpool Docklands and will feature a huge line up of some of the best in local and national talent.

Taking place across numerous North Liverpool Dockland creative spaces including Invisible Wind Factory, Northshore Troubadour, Muraki and more, the closing party will be a celebration of the local music scene and DIY heart of the city.

Comprised of stages curated by the likes of local tastemakers Getintothis and Bido Lito! plus promoters Milk Presents, Domino Recordings’ experimental art-rock heroes CLINIC will headline proceedings and there will also be a special ‘50 Shades Of Pink – Barberos Spandex Party’ which will see local progressive electronic / noise trio BARBEROS play a full album show featuring collaborations with ALL WE ARE, STEALING SHEEP and more.

The full list of additions for the closing party is as follows: APATT, ASUZENA, 50 SHADES OF PINK – BARBEROS SPANDEX PARTY, BERNIE CONNOR (DJ), BIG SAFARI, BONNACONS OF DOOM, CAVALIER SONG, CAVALRY, CHARLES HAYWOOD (DJ), CLINIC, DANYE, FAUX QUEENS, GALACTIC FUNK MILITIA, GRAHAM DUNNING MECHANICAL TECHNO, ISEERIVERS, LYING B*STARDS, MAMATUNG, OVVLS, RONGORONGO, SANKOFA, STRANGE COLLECTIVE, THE ALEPH, THE FLOORMEN, THE SHIPBUILDERS, THE WICKED WHISPERS, UPITUP ALLSTARS, VEYU and XAM VOLO.

The latest additions to join the already announced: John Carpenter (The Master of Horror), Warpaint, Dinosaur Jr., Louis Berry, Let’s Eat Grandma, Amber Arcades, Dream Wife, Abattoir Blues, The Big Moon, Cat’s Eyes, GoGo Penguin, Clean Cut Kid and She Drew The Gun.

LMW16 runs from 26th October – 4th November 2016 with standalone early bird tickets for the closing party priced at £6 are on sale now.

This year sees the launch of a limited number of LMW16 Wristbands that allow entry to all of this year’s shows (excluding the DIY Breaking Out series) for just £50, on sale now.
