Creamfields 2017 will see a brand new stage launch, as BBC Music Introducing will have its first ever dedicated electronic stage to welcome a selection of under-the-radar electronic artists from around the UK.

This will be the first time BBC Music Introducing host a stage at the festival, and they have already nurtured the likes of James Bay, Florence and the Machine, Jack Garratt, Jake Bugg and Slaves who have performed at various stages across the world.

BBC Music Introducing not only has presence at some of Britain’s leading festivals, such as Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Glastonbury, but they also bring in new, unsigned and undiscovered acts to flaunt their music.

Rachel Coomber, Editor, BBC Music Introducing says: “We’re very excited to be bringing the BBC Music Introducing stage to Creamfields for the first time, and especially delighted to be broadening the musical scope of BBC Music Introducing and taking it to one of the leading Dance Music Festivals in the world.”

This August Bank holiday weekend will be filled with artists from across the globe, some chart-toppers, and some rookies.

The Chainsmokers, Danny Howard and BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac will be performing on the BBC Radio 1 Stage on the Friday.

Further into the weekend, spectators at the North Stage will be in the presence of Axwell & Ingrosso, Galantis and Nicky Romero.

There will be an all-star exclusive UK debut and European live show performed by six-time Grammy Award nominee, deadmau5, and UK chart topper, Eric Prydz, who was formally part of Swedish House Mafia.

DJ, producers and live electronic acts can upload their music via the BBC Music Introducing website: bbc.co.uk/introducing.

Creamfields returns to Daresbury, Cheshire, from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th August Bank Holiday weekend. Tickets are on sale now at www.creamfields.com
