Dr. Martens have announced the support acts for the #STANDFORSOMETHING Tour 2013.
Throughout Dr. Martens history, the brand has been adopted and subverted by countless rebellious characters, subcultures and tribes.
These are the people who stand out from the crowd in their own unique way and for many, their journey of self-expression has always been accompanied by a pair of Doc’s. Dr. Martens celebrates these free-thinking individuals – from first time wearers to those who have been with the brand forever.
The #STANDFORSOMETHING campaign celebrates individuality and the right to self-expression.
Dr. Martens are hosting five intimate gigs across the UK with some of the country’s most incendiary live acts and have announced Dry the River, Lower Than Atlantis, Spector, Young Guns and Sonic Boom Six as headliners for these up close and personal shows.
This tour also underlines Dr. Martens commitment to emerging talent, providing a platform for a host of up-coming bands as support including: Save Your Breath, Canterbury, JAWS, The Minx, Model Aeroplanes and further support sourced through their partnership with music charity, Strummerville: LTNT, Armchair Committee, Gaolers Daughter, Natural Tendency, Huevo & The Giant.
Tickets for all shows are just £5.
