With only 100 days ’til Bloodstock five more bands have been added to the already mammoth bill.

Joining the likes of Ghost, Megadeth, Skindred and Arch Enemy will be Manchester’s BROKEN TEETH who will open the Ronnie James Dio stage on the Sunday. They are planning to blow away all your Sunday morning cobwebs with a set that will replace the ringing in your head with a ringing in your head.

Also joining the bill on the Sophie Lancaster stage are LIONIZE. Anybody who has been lucky enough to see Clutch on the last few UK runs will have no doubt been impressed by their live show. Leeds’ BLACK MOTH will be opening up the Mothpit along with Finland’s WOLFHEART and German duo MANTAR who’s blend of doom, punk and black metal should shake your blood and rattle your bones sufficiently.

Also, after the success of last year’s strongman competition it returns bigger and better with the addition of a women’s competition with £1200 up for grabs thanks to sponsors Xplosiveape. Add to that Kraken’s Freaky Tiki Spiced Rum Bar, which is likely to be as popular as the Ice Cream van was last year and the ever popular JAGERMEISTER Stage, Bloodstock 2017 is all set to be the highlight of the year yet again.
BLOODSTOCK’s three headliners for 2017 are AMON AMARTH, GHOST, and MEGADETH. Also already announced are ARCH ENEMY, KREATOR, BLIND GUARDIAN, HATEBREED, TESTAMENT, OBITUARY, KING 810, BRUJERIA, WHITECHAPEL, SKINDRED, POSSESSED, ANNIHILATOR, MUNICIPAL WASTE, HELL, DECAPITATED, SOILWORK, CHELSEA GRIN, MACABRE, INQUISITION, KING PARROT, SCARAB, WINTERSUN, ONI, DENDERA, KROH, ABHORRENT DECIMATION, COURTESANS, WRETCHED SOUL, BOSSK, WINTERFYLLETH, GODS, BLIND HAZE, ARTHEMIS, SEASON’S END, BLIND RIVER, ENDEAVOUR, BLAAKYUM, DAKESIS, NORDJEVEL, and TORQUED.
