Robert Rodriguez the director of the hotly anticipated Sin City: A Dame To Kill For has announced that he is also finishing work on a TV adaptation of his vampire genre mash up movie From Dusk Till Dawn.
Rodriguez has released a trailer online for the upcoming series, that reveals a premier date of March 11.
Working closely for many years with Tarantino, the Planet Terror director intends to present a “novel version” of the story as opposed to the “short story” version we see in the film.
With the HBO’s hit vampire show True Blood exiting our screens this summer, fans can breath a sigh of relief that a seasoned director like Rodriguez is representing the genre on the small screen.
The cast features many familiar faces including Don Johnson from Django Unchained, Jesse Garcia from Sons of Anarchy and Zane Holtz is set to replace Clooney as Seth Gecko.
