Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson’s cult hit 90s BBC sitcom Bottom is being celebrated in brand-new book Talking Bottom: A Guide to the Cult Sitcom.
The authors and stars of the show gathered in front of fans at the Rik Mayall Memorial Bench in Hammersmith, London to mark the launch of the book, published this week via Unbound.
Jam-packed with episode-by-episode guides, draft script excerpts and previously unseen photos, it has been penned by hosts of popular podcast Talking Bottom Paul Tanter, Angela Pearson and Mat Brooks.
The Talking Bottom authors were joined by Roger Slomanwho starred as Richie and Eddie’s dodgy landlord Mr Harrison), Lee Cornes starred as sneering ‘The Lamb and Flag’ pub owner Dick Head and the producer of Bottom’s pilot episode Paul Jackson, BBC Director/Producer – The Young Ones, Red Dwarf.
