P Diddy stunned his fans yesterday after releasing a video of him starring in Downton Abbey and claiming to be a new regular actor on the show’s cast.

During the five-minute spoof video for US comedy site Funny or Die, the Bad Boy star appears seamlessly edited into scenes from previous Downton episodes.

Hip Hop mogul as he tweeted “MY BIG NEWS: So happy to announce that I’m a series regular on DOWNTON ABBEY-my favorite show+I’ll be debuting a sneak peek tonight.”

Funny or Die produced the video after bosses of the ITV drama announced the show’s first black character will feature in the next series.

P Diddy, real name Sean Combs, claims it must have slipped their minds that he was in fact the first black character in the show.

The Monster’s Ball actor, 43, carried on the joke on Twitter and Instagram posting pictures of Downton Abbey and tweeting that he was on the set: ‘enjoying high tea with Isobel and the Dowager Countess.’
