Comedy legend Bill Murray celebrated old pal David Letterman’s last show by emerging on to the stage from a cake in a jumpsuit, reminiscent of the final scenes of Ghostbusters.
Looking like he’d just thrown down with Stay Puft, Bill proceeded to hug and high five people in the crowd, before spoiling one of the host’s trademark slick suits.
After this sweet introduction, the movie icon went on to drink vodka, encouraging Dave to ‘cannonball’ from the bottle.
Bill then broke out of the fire exit and on to the street to get fans outside to join him in a rousing chant to keep Dave on the air.
