Community season 4 airs in UK on new Sony channel

Sony Entertainment Television have announced that a fourth season of hit US comedy Community will premiere exclusively in the UK next month following its recent success in the US.

Season 4 sees UK comedy favourite Matt Lucas (Little Britain) join the cast of as geeky-rival to Abed; the mysterious return of Chang, mischievously played by Ken Jeong as he suffers from Chang-nesia, as well as an entire episode made up of puppetry.

Community is a rare example of a show that gets better week after week. The Greendale Seven, led by Jeff Winger, return after the summer break for their fourth year, as an unlikely crew who eventually learn a lot more about themselves than they ever will their course work.

Amongst the critically-acclaimed series stars are, Gillian Jacobs (The Book of Daniel), Yvette Nicole Brown (Rules of Engagement), Danny Pudi (Greek), Alison Brie (Mad Men), Donald Glover (30 Rock), Ken Jeong (The Hangover), Academy-Award winning screenwriter Jim Rash, as well as the final appearance of comedy legend Chevy Chase (Chuck).

The show airs on Sony’s new channel, Sky 157/Virgin 193, at 11pm on Friday 19th July.
