This past week on WWE Monday Night Raw, Arrow star Stephen Amell sat ringside to confront the man that has been taunting him on WWE and on social media since May, WWE Superstar Stardust.
Neville (A rival of Stardust) had just defeated King Barrett, as soon as the match was over, Stardust attacked Neville, Stardust then turned his attention to the Arrow star who was sitting at ringside, he took a cheap shot at Amell, which caused the TMNT 2 star to hop over the barricade into the ring to take down The Prince Of Dark Matter as the crowd cheered.
After the commercial break, Amell was seen backstage with Neville and WWE COO Triple H, Amell demanded that he & Neville be allowed to step into WWE ring together to face both Stardust and Barrett.
WWE COO Triple H agreed that once the legal paperwork had been signed, sealed and delivered, the match would be official.
It has since been confirmed that at WWE SummerSlam on the 23rd of August LIVE from Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center, Stephen Amell will make his WWE in-ring debut when he teams up with Neville to take on the team of King Barrett and The Prince Of Dark Matter, Stardust.
An interesting note is that Amell is being referred to as The Green Arrow, his character in the hit comic book series, there’s a chance he may appear as the emerald archer himself, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Stephen Amell is a self confessed life long WWE fan so it should be quite an experience for him to officially step into a wrestling ring and grapple with the stars of the WWE.
Amell stars as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow in the hit series Arrow, returning for its fourth season this October, Stephen can also be seen in TMNT 2 next year.
