Head up to your loft and grab an old VCR player, Alien: Romulus is set to be released on a limited edition VHS on the 3rd of December alongside the Blu-ray Steelbook, standard 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD options. Director Fede Álvarez announced this news in Los Angeles earlier this week during “a special Beyond Fest-partnered screening.”

If you happened to throw out the old relic that is the VCR, you are in luck, VideOdyssey, one of the UK’s last video shops, has VCRs available to rent. VideOdyssey recently said that they will also have Alien: Romulus on VHS available for your viewing pleasure upon release.

The limited edition VHS release was created in celebration of the Alien franchise’s 45th anniversary. It’ll present the movie in a traditional 4:3 aspect ratio. It also comes in a vintage-style sleeve like the good old days.

The box art comes from Matt Ferguson. Matt recently posted a wider version of the image as a poster, which admittedly would look quite spectacular on an office wall.

20th Century Fox Studios has yet to reveal how many copies of the VHS will be available, it also has yet to provide pricing for the collectible. While waiting for the VHS or other physical releases of the movie, you are currently able to purchase a digital license of Alien: Romulus on streaming stores.
