A four story X-Mansion model has made it into the review stage at Lego with possible confirmation coming later this year.
Although the director is slightly disappointed that the film managed to pull in $9.4 million in it’s first week, X-Men still has a determined fan following after a model of Professor Charles Xavier’s mansion, the X-Mansion, gained over 10,000 votes for Lego Ideas.
Lego Ideas is a website where people propose new figures and sets that they feel would sell well for fans of different franchises and by making an account, you can click to support an idea in the hopes it will make it to the next stage.
Fans of the X-Men have certainly proved themselves by helping this model to get to the next stage of the process and later on in the year, the idea will be going to an official review by a Lego staff panel.
The review process will not start until September but it’s definitely something to look forward to.
The set will be easily stored away with two closing doors on the front of the model.
Inside, you will find four floors of familiar rooms.
These include a classroom for Gifted Youngsters, if you have a storm figure or plan on getting one, you can place her where she’ll be her happiest, in the Attic Garden.
There will also be a Danger Room and a medical bay included in the house.
The set that has been suggested contains over 45 mini figures, which is even more than the Star Wars Death Star figure so chances are, if this model is given the go ahead, you can expect to find a lot less figures included.
The creator of the idea, Glenbricker, has said that he expects that a standard model will include a mini figure of Professor Xavier, Beast, Shadowcat, Gambit and Mystique.
