Standing tall as one of the best loved and most enduring toys on the planet, LEGO has sparked creativity and delight in both young and old since it was first manufactured in Denmark in 1949.
After an amazing two years in Manchester, The LEGO Show is moving to London in May with its biggest show ever.
The LEGO Show will be at The O2 in Greenwich from the 9th – 11th May 2014. The 3 day show will be the largest display of fan models in the UK and is the only show in the country to feature the best LEGO fan builders and professional LEGO artists.
The show promises to be an amazing experience, packed full of interactive features including workshops with professional brick builders, LEGO designers, the Brick marketplace with new and second hand LEGO products for sale and amazing displays by LEGO fans from around the world.
With fantastic themed areas the show will inspire and motivate and allow attendees to immerse themselves in the product and build their own constructions.
Warren Elsmore, Director of The LEGO Show 2014, said: “Following a fantastic couple of years in Manchester, we had a lot of fans keen for us to bring the show to London.
“The O2 is the perfect venue for us and we’re looking forward to an amazing show. 2014 is a big year for LEGO toys and with the release of the LEGO Movie in February this will be a celebratory occasion for all fans of LEGO.”
Tickets are now on sale and a family can save money and guarantee entry by buying their ticket in advance.
The O2 is an iconic London venue and a design classic which will form the backdrop for the event. Easily accessible by road and underground (Jubilee Line), it has fantastic facilities and event spaces and has massive appeal for visitors.
With extensive parking and a fantastic environment, the event will utilise space in the entertainment quarter to bring the show to life.
