Mark McNulty teamed up with Purple Revolver to showcase his new photo collection A New Penny Lane at the LIMF art gallery at the Albert Dock.
Now we’re urging you to check out the talented lens man’s book Pop Cultured, which delves into his extensive archive.
For many years, Liverpool photographer Mark has been documenting the music scene, both in the city and as it has proliferated worldwide.
Accompanied by more than 100 photographs, the Pop Cultured hardback photo-book celebrates the city, its music, and its culture through the lens of this highly acclaimed and influential photographer.
McNulty has covered a wide array of iconic British bands such as the Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Echo and the Bunnymen and the Arctic Monkeys, as well as visiting international acts like the White Stripes.
Pop Cultured combines McNulty’s images with his own laconic and humorous commentary and that of his iconic musical subjects, providing a roller-coaster account of the last 20 years of British culture.
