Everyone loves the nooks and crannies of their homes and everybody treasures the little things in their house that make it a home.

Cue Nook & Cranny – which launched in 2011 – as the latest addition to Liverpool’s home of the individual and quirky bits and bobs, Bold Street.

No different – yet very different – to its neighbours, Nook & Cranny is a gift and homeware store for the unique Liverpool home with hidden gems of the art and design world.

Personality is a favoured word within the walls of the one-stop shop for cards, prints, stationary beside novelty knick-knacks, contemporary homeware and reclaimed antiques.

Nook & Cranny prides itself on fully knowing its products and all artists involved on a very personal level, which provides a greater shopping experience for the Bold Street bargain hunters.

Not only do Nook & Cranny sell the charming and crazy gifts, the new shop will also start hosting events throughout the year.

Founder and creative director, Jennifer Kirby said, “Our events are going to be an extension of the brand.

“We will be exploring different fun avenues of creativity and bringing people together to build skills, socialise and make great things to brighten up their daily lives.

“All of our events will be for big and little kids alike because growing older is compulsory but growing up is optional.”

It is the perfect venue for Liverpool locals in the creative business to get together now and then for a catch up, business exchanges and a drink or two – as seen at the launch evening with tequila shots on arrival plus red wine served all evening.

These evenings will be promoted on the Nook & Cranny’s various social media pages and website, so look out for an event that you will be interested in.
