Hitman: Agent 47 – new movie set to roll from great computer game

Hitman: Agent 47, is an upcoming 2015 American film filled with action and thrill, due for release in theaters on the 28th of August.

This film, which is directed by Aleksander Bach, and written by Michael Finch, Skip Woods, and Kyle Ward, is based on the top-selling and award-winning videogame franchise of Hitman.

Hitman: Agent 47 starring Rupert Friend as the main character is an all-new motion picture about a genetically engineered and elite assassin who is known only by the last two digits of a tattoo representing a bar code at the back of his neck ending with the number 47.

His latest target is a young woman named Katia Van Dees (Hannah Ware) on the run from powerful and clandestine forces, and also trying to find her father and her true ancestry. The mission uncovers unexpected secrets about the deadly agent and his prey, hurtling them on a conflict regarding their past, when they find out that Katia is a genetically engineered assassin too, just like his supposed assassin Agent 47.

And this time, his number may be up when they join forces to fight the Syndicate led by the organisation chairman Le Clerq (Thomas Kretschmann).

Film distributor, 20th Century Fox, has developed Agent 47 which is a remake of the 2007 Hitmanfilm which was based on the video game series of Hitman.

Paul Walker was tipped to play the titlerole in the movie Hitman: Agent 47, however he was killed in a car accident on the 30th of November 2013, when casting was still being done for the other characters in the movie. Thus Paul Walker wasreplaced with Rupert Friend to take the leading role as Agent 47.

The release date for this film was set for the 27th February 2015, however for unknown reasons this date has been changed to the 28th of August 2015. Filming for this film is said to have taken place in Berlin and Singapore and up to nowtwo images and footage from this film have already been revealed in July 2014 at a film festival in San Diego.
