Hip Hop heads are high in anticipation for the Wu-Tang Clan’s imminent return to the UK with shows in Glasgow, Manchester and London.

Shaolin’s finest will be re-united in Full Force by Oh Productions for the gigs at Manchester Academy on August 3 and Brixton Academy on August 4. These are the must-see rap gigs of the summer.

The entire Clan will pay tribute to ODB with tunes from their latest colaborative album 8 Diagrams and his solo cannon.

To celebrate the Beatles of Hip Hop’s return to these shores, Purple Revolver will explore the groups origins, from Brooklyn and Staten Island, NYC to building an empire of multi-platinum artists, and iconic clothing label Wu-Wear.

In a 36 feature special we will explore the many Chambers of the Clan with profiles on each of the rappers, the story of Tony Stark’s Wallabees, the Chess power moves against the industry and the records that put Shaolin on the map.

We’re most looking forward to profilin’ ODB aka Russel Jones aka Freeloadin Rusty aka Ason Unique and his crazy tales from interrupting Shawn Colvin’s speech to going on the run from the FBI and turning up to play a Wu gig in New York.
