Trattoria 51 will be providing an extra slice of romance this Valentine’s Day with an exclusive three day menu.

Between Friday, February 12 and Sunday, February 14, the popular Old Hall Street eatery will be serving up a whole host of authentic Italian food and drink, devised especially with sharing in mind.

For those looking to add a novel twist to their romantic celebrations, the restaurant’s Prosecco Bar will be shaking up the aptly named Filtro D’Amore (Love Potion) cocktail.

General Manager and Co-Owner of Trattoria 51 Toni Karemanaj said: “Valentine’s Day is certainly one of our favourite times of year at Trattoria 51, as it offers our guests a great chance to say ‘Ti Amo!’ and spoil the one they love with fantastic food, exciting cocktails and intimate surroundings.

“Our opulent four-course menu has been created with sharing between lovers in mind, but there is also a chance for our diners to select for themselves from a wide array of exciting Italian starters and main courses with a unique culinary twist.”

Diners will kick off their affectionate celebrations with an appetising selection of Amuse Bouche before enjoying scrumptious starter options such as Bresaola with Mozzarella, Rocket and Olive Oil, King Scallops wrapped in Speck Ham, Leek Puree and Crusty Bread alongside Garlic Mushroom and Dolcelatte Bruschetta.

Main course options include Fillet of Beef Mignon Rossini with Grilled New Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables, Homemade Smoked Salmon with Mascarpone Ravioli, Prawns and Dill Cream Sauce and Vegetable Risotto with Asparagus and Grilled Goat Cheese.

For dessert, couples can enjoy a platter selection of home-made desserts to share.

The Filtro D’Amore Cocktail is made with Prosecco, Rum and Strawberry Puree.

Toni added: “With busy lifestyles often getting in the way of one-on-one time with your loved one, Valentine’s is a fantastic opportunity to spend some quality time with the special person in your life.

“We’re sure that our diners will really enjoy our classic Italian twist on the romantic occasion and look forward to raising a glass to all the lovers of Liverpool.”

The Valentine’s menu is available from Friday, February 12 until Sunday, February 14 and is priced at £29.95 per person. The Filtro D’Amore cocktail is available at the price of £5.
