We’re getting uber-excited as May brings the first birthday of our favourite Liverpool haunt The Shipping Forecast with a jam-packed weekend extravaganza of bands and DJs.
Festivities set sail on Friday 20th with performances from Moodymann and Alex Wolfenden as well as a DJ set from Miles Kane. Saturday night will play host to SBTRKT, Creep and Young Turk DJs as well as Jamie XX.
During their inaugral year The Shipping Forecast has brought together an eclectic array of Liverpool’s creative best, as well as presenting an impressive roster of some of the UK’s most talked about new bands and DJs.
Highlights have included performances from James Blake, Eliza Doolittle, New Young Pony Club and Hot Club De Paris as well as DJ sets from the likes of The Big Pink, Mark Ronson and DJ Yoda.
