Indie Goth stars The Horrors have teamed up with former Time Lord Christopher Eccleston for an anti-whaling protest film.

The skinny rockers have provided the soundtrack to the film while Eccleston has narrated the piece campaigning for greater restrictions and protection for the endangered mammals.

The whole initiative is aimed to sway international delegates who are currently discussing whether to keep whaling illegal down in Morocco.

Whether their combined efforts have any effect on the decision makers remains to be seen, as there is considerable pressure from commercial fisheries and some well known whaling countries to lift the ban.
