The Arts Club, a classic and memorable Liverpool venue located on Seel Street along with other new age hotspots such as Heebie Jebbies bar hosted another headline performance of the fresh northern band, The Bohos.

The gig consisted of an interesting mix of supporting acts such as The Higherside, SPLIT and OTHERKIN who used the venue to finish their Bad Advice 2017 UK tour.

It is clear from the start that with its strong grassroot youth support and high turnouts, The Bohos are doing something right.

Since playing their first headline act in November last year, they have managed to support bands such as The Cast at Liverpool o2 Academy and will do so again with The Night Café on the 5th of May at the same venue.

The Bohos treated the audience with another night to remember, with their performance lasting around 40 minutes, the setlist didn’t disappoint, sparking the audience with an energetic and powerful experience.

Each song managed to swing the atmosphere onto a different spectrum, allowing for an immersive and heavily visual performance, achieved through a mix of a unique sound, light management and the venue itself which felt like it was constantly transforming and evolving along with the music.

The audience seemed to create the bond with the band, making the overall feel of the performance welcoming and person to each viewer as they let themselves go to the wave currents of multiple mosh pits forming around them as Bohos’ debut single ’Monday Morning’ exploded on scene.

The supporting bands also had their memorable moments, however OTHERKIN took it to another level with physically joining the audience and engaging the whole room to fall along with the lead singer, Luke Reilly, to the grunge pop beat that left you hungry for more.

After the gig, the audience was invited for an after party at Liverpool Zanzibar, allowing the fans to meet the band and more importantly vice versa.
