Slightly late with this edition, accept my utmost apologies.
Here’s a roundup of the best bang for your buck over the next fortnight.
Adidas Originals ‘Trinidad’
Following on from the ‘Jamaica’ and ‘Cancun’, we’re again cherished with some tropical goodness from Adidas. The ‘Trinidad’ completes the ‘Island’ pack that was drip fed to stores over the summer.
Just look at that Orange! Blinding, even to the sharpest of eyes. Full suede uppers sit against a classic natural gum sole. A superb release and one to store away for parties in Amsterdam next summer.

Asics Gel Lyte III Pale Aqua
Continuing their 25th anniversary celebrations, Asics have teamed up with Australian retailer Highs and Lows for the release of the Pale Aqua. The shoe is said to be inspired by a theatre in the city of Perth, though I’m not indifferent over whether this colour scheme would be ideal whilst glaring at the latest blockbuster. Here we are nonetheless, as it most definitely works on your feet.
Whites, greens, tonal hues and aqua laces, enough to brighten any dull November day up.
Out now – £130 – Footpatrol (In store only)
Nike ‘Roshe Run’ Flat Silver/Obsidian
These days, the ‘Roshe’ is more popular than the sight of overgrown beards in Salt Dogs. Honour this huge success by picking up this fresh new colour way, straight from the Autumn/Winter Nike ‘FB Collection’. There’s a sublime ‘digi camo’ that sits against a speckled marble midsole, finished off with a pair of matching grey laces.
Great release and an especially comfortable way to walk to and from the boozer on a Friday eve.

Vans x Vault x The North Face SK8-Hi
Even skaters can keep themselves dry during the inevitable blustery weather ahead with this terrific Vans/North Face collab. Designed with water repellant leather and suede, they also feature a Hydroseal Membrane for extra durability, a feature commonly seen in high end walking boots.
On top of being sensible even by your dad’s standards, they’re stylised marvellously with a royal blue overlay and a co branded tongue logo.
Highly recommended.

Nike ‘Coffin’ Dunk
Are we too late for another Halloween inspired release? Following on from the ‘Mummified Blazers‘, Nike have chosen to release a horror infused version of the classic ‘Dunk’.
Premium black leather and a blood red sole, each shoe also has a coffin-shaped laced jewel for an extra punch of sinisterness.
Morbid, in the best possible way.
