Why was this not in our Christmas stocking?

For Christmas, Blake Lively gave her husband, Ryan Reynolds, the gift of himself, an adorable Deadpool-themed gift.

Reynolds, who stars as The Merc With a Mouth in the upcoming Marvel movie Deadpool, took to Instagram recently to show off the hand crafted, miniature felt doll that was modelled after his anti-hero character.

Ryan, 39, captioned the photo: “Nothing says ‘I love you’ like a felt #Deadpool, holding a chimichanga while riding a Unicorn dressed in ass-less leather chaps. Amaright fellas?”

The actor has been snapping like mad to help promote the upcoming Marvel movie. A quick scroll through his Instagram feed lets fans find plenty for the film, from promo shots and trailers to Deadpool’s Christmas list and a scribbled-on script.

Deadpool is scheduled to hit cinemas on Feb. 12, 2016.
