Are you ready to feel dead good this Halloween Friday? Purple Revolver are calling for an army of the undead to take part in a massive Liverpool zombie flash mob, to help raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
We want all zombie fans and flesh-eating fanatics to help us take over a secret location and scare the living daylights out of any unsuspecting city dwellers. How dare they parade round full of life in front of our zombie horde.
The Horn of the Dead flash mob will happen just before Hallowe’en (full details revealed to participants once they sign up, but the event will take place outside of normal working hours).
The theme for the zombie flash mob will focus on heroes this year. So zombies will be encouraged to come dressed as their favourite heroes, so that could be Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse or Captain America.
Don’t worry if you can’t rustle up a costume, as we will have team of Liverpool’s top Cosplayers working with us to provide an array of famous zombies.
And we need some civilian looking deadites too – so get involved.
You can buy zombie make up tickets for £5, with proceeds going to Alder Hey, here:
Our friends at Bay TV will be on hand to capture the zombie crawl on film for broadcast on the Freeview channel 8 – so anyone looking to expand their acting portfolio or if you just fancy pointing yourself out as a skin scoffing extra – sign up with eager brain eating haste.
People taking part will have their zombie make up done by a talented team of special effects and make up artists.
Plus there will be a kick ass after party with more Purple Revolver shindig shenanigans, led by Shipping Forecast quiz master and Juice FM DJ Jonny Bongo.
Great undead and evil fun is guaranteed for all.
Places are limited and will be filled on a fastest finger first basis – so if you’d like to be involved – like our Facebook page (where we will give news and more hints to the zombie goings on) and hit us up on: email@example.com to sign up.
You can watch footage from our previous Swarm of the Dead flash mob at FACT in the video box here.
The flash mob will run in co-ordination with:
