A pair of talented ice sculptors have created a Sony PlayStation dual-shock 3 controller in amazing detail.
Ice Sculptors Glacial Art re-released the dual shock 3 controller to celebrate the launch of the PlayStation 4.
The Liverpool-based company are also responsible for creating a four meter tall dinosaur skeleton, as well as a Rolex watch in painstaking detail.
But, when one eagle eyed observer pointed out their Sony controller belonged to the PlayStation 3, the company responded:
“We will be doing the new one very soon – but cant show pics until after the event.”
Working against time, the team carve their sculptures out of a solid block of ice, aiming to include as much detail as possible.
The dual-shock 3 controller has the Sony branding across the top, inset coloured buttons and even the branded Sony menu button in the center of the controller.
Glacial Art are now challenged with recreating the dual shock 4 controller, which has the added feature of a large light up motion sensor on the top of the controller.
We can expect to see results of the dual-shock 4 controller on December 19.
