Taking inspiration from neo-noir comics and American pop artist Roy Lichtenstein, Phillip Lim deconstructs pop art graphics as motifs for his Pre-Fall 12 handbag collection.

An extension of his mainline collection, the stand-out “Ka-Pow!” patchwork bag and “Crying Girl” cosmetic clutch feature slick patent leathers, transparent panels and metallics, while his iconic “31 Hour Bag” and “Pashli” satchels are re-released in a rich palette for Autumn.

And for a quick getaway, the break-up patchwork ’31 minute’ bag is a combination shiny and matte leather clutch with front comic strip graphic, a back handle strap, and top zipper closure.
