Pendletons Autumn/Winter 2012 lookbook ‘The Portland Collection’ reaffirms their ability to apply their notorious aesthetic to a huge range of woolen garments while remaining relevant and on trend.

The new collection designed by Nathaniel Crissman, Rachel Turk and John Blasioli showcases the brand’s ability to redesign their recognisable prints which is applied to shirts, jumpers and a more unusual jumpsuit design.

The collection also develops upon their previous seasons’ success with scarves, blankets and accessories amongst the extensive range.

Pendletons’ Portland Collection coincides with their Dr Martens collaboration, set to hit stores in limited numbers later this year and sees a reinvention of the classic 1460 boot in both black and cherry red.

Debuted at this year’s Bread and Butter show, the iconic Pendleton print proves an ideal match for the brand and has been adapted to feature on a matching satchel.

The joining of these two collossal brands who have both enjoyed a huge resurgence in recent years, will have many fans desperate to get their hands on an exclusive pair.
