Classically-trained muso turned rocker Noush Skaugen has once again shown her social media midas touch by bagging a booking at influential London promoter Tony Moore’s SXSW show tonight (March, 19.)
With an impressive and ever increasing 1.2 million followers on Twitter Noush has become the most followed unsigned artist on the super-charged micro-blogging network.
As a result Twitter bosses invited the singer to play a live stream showcase from their San Francisco HQ last week.
With two albums to her name already, Noush’s third is released this spring, boasting the writing talents of Nik Kershaw, Jeff Trott and Paul Brady as well as the producing prowess Steve Power.
She has also racked up an impressive performance CV after two years of touring the US, with such acts as Nine Inch Nails, PParamore, REM and The Mars Volta.
New single Run Baby Run is due out in May following a series of live dates including the special performance at the showcase of Tony Moore (The Kashmir Klub, The Bedford, The Regal Room).
