Calling all creative guns! Make sure y’all come down to the zine-making workshop at LJMU’s Art and Design building later today to immerse yourself fully in the true spirit of DIY culture.
Be part of Purple Revolver’s special spin off zine making extravaganza as part of the Long Night celebrations, get your voice heard and stick it to the monotonous glossy magz on the shelf with some underground shizzle!
The festivities will be split into two sessions, the first starts today 6-8pm, the second session coming on at 8-10pm, and all to be held in the ADA building situated next to Paddy’s wigwam.
Get ready to pull your pritt sticks from your holsters like sharp shooters from the Old West to create a special 12 page zine all in one night.
So all you artists and creative’s out there want to read, draw, write, shoot? Come armed with your ideas for articles, photo stories, illustrations or send in photos from other venues to be included.
The best work will be published on the night and distributed around the other Long Night installations going on in Liverpool. So get involved!
Also at the LJMU Art & Design Academy on Duckinfield St, next to the Catholic Cathedral (Paddy’s Wigwam) will be Draw the Line. They will be conducting art workshops aimed at the artist and everyman alike to create collective artworks. Its all about a love of doodles! Turn up — some of the best art will make it into the zine.
