London’s biggest and brightest rave institution Fabric is rumoured to be on the verge of closure and due to enter administration according to online sources.

This new revelation follows the regrettable news that Matter has had to shut its doors and Fabric could follow suit with the whole franchise suffering a finacial crisis.

Organisers moved to dispel these rumours absolutely by releasing a statement on the 9th of June saying: “Despite the administration appointment over Fabric 591 Limited, the nightclub, records and publishing will continue business as usual.”

“The nightclub has recently enjoyed a fantastic bank holiday weekend with three successful events.”

Many clubbers will be delighted and reassured on hearing the news that there is still life left in the venue yet. But some fans are dubious.

An internet campaign has started in earnest despite the press release, calling for supporters to sign a petition to save the famous London club, voted second best in England by DJ magazine.

The Facebook group has over 1,100 members and reads: “Please join this group and show your support for both fabric and matter in the hope that they can survive these turbulent times and provide us with many more top nights in the future.”
