Leeds Festival opened its doors to a throng of wet and muddy punters yesterday. The main stage welcomed the likes of Friendly Fires, Elbow and saw Muse close the day with an unforgettable headline show.
We stuck to some of the smaller stages to see some of the other treats the festival had to offer (and which had the convenient benefit of providing us with shelter from the incessant rain.)
We’ll be bringing you photos throughout the weekend – here are some of day one including Chapel Club, Panic! At The Disco, Cocknbull Kid and Mr Peter Doherty who closed the Festival Republic stage.
