Following the sell-out success of their 19th Birthday at Nation this month, dance fans don’t have long to wait for the next instalment as Cream reveals its line-up for Boxing night.
Leading the festive cheer in the Main room will be man of the moment Laidback Luke.
Fresh from his spell binding residency for Cream in Ibiza this summer, Luke’s ascent to DJ superstardom continues as he dominates the charts and dancefloors around the globe.
At the helm in the Courtyard is Cream favourite Eddie Halliwell who presents his ED-IT live show to the masses.
Eddie’s skill lies in his unique musical ability to read the crowd, and if you witnessed his mind-blowing set at Creamfields this year you know exactly what we mean.
Joining Eddie in the courtyard is Toolroom Records star Funkagenda, as famous for his production skills as he is for his DJing with his trademark melodic big room house sound.
Never one to miss a mash up is Michael Woods who joins the line up in the Courtyard, a DJ/Producer whose musical competence at producing big room, progressive and tech house tracks has been noted by some of the most influential figures in dance music.
One of the most talked about artists from Creamfields this year was Alesso and we welcome him on Boxing night for his Cream debut.
At only 19 years old and with massive original productions including Nillionaire already under his belt, Sebastian Ingrosso’s protégée is trailblazing the way. Having scored an essential new tune on BBC Radio 1 and secured a second play with his killer remix of Swedish House Mafia’s Save the World, Alesso is one to watch.
Joining him in the Main Room are DJ/production duo Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano. Famous for their soulful vocal and fast pumping house, their skill lies in the ability to build a track, drop it, pull in the next, sample soul-pleasing vocals, then drop another seamlessly.
Completing the lineup in the Main Room is leader of the new school Kim Fai. Often seen performing back to back with the ‘new house mafia’ AN21 and Max Vangeli or supporting deadmau5 on his US & UK tours, his other talent lies in his remixing ability, having enjoyed major success with a string of high profile commissions from the likes of Chase & Status, Jason Derulo, Lady Gaga and The Prodigy.
Another duo joining in the fun comes from Third Party who having caught the ear of Steve Angello with their mega track Release and who subsequently signed it to his Size Records label. 2011 has undoubtedly been their break out year which has seen them performing around the world which included supporting the Swedish House Mafia at the Masquerade Motel in Miami and completing the ‘One Night Only’ UK tour amongst others.
And finally no Cream boxing night would be complete without its residents, as we welcome back Gareth Wyn, Anthony Probyn, Andy Mac, Jemmy, Rob Harnetty and Lee Ellis.
