Following her incendiary opening performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in L.A, Lady Gaga leads the nominations in the 2011 MTV European Music Awards.
The singer’s performance of You And I as alter ego Joe Calderone backed by Queen legend Brian May on guitar was the most talked about moment of the night
The Poker Face star has six nominations, two more than her nearest competitors, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars.
You And I has been nominated for Best Song, check out her recent live performance of the track on US TV.
The EMAs, now in its 18th year will be held in Belfast on November 6th.
The 2011 awards hosted by Selena Gomez, will be the third time the event has been held on British soil, following shindigs in Glasgow and Liverpool.

Katy Perry was crowned the biggest winner at the American equivalent of the awards bash back in August, winning four gongs.
The Firework singer is set to go head to head with Lady Gaga for Best Live, Best Female and Best Pop gongs.
New Yorker Gaga is also nominated for Best Video for Born This Way.
The Born This Way performer is also in contention for Biggest Fans, a new award which will go to the artist who has the most passionate fan base.
Bruno Mars meanwhile is nominated in the Best Song category for his huge hit Grenade alongside nods for Best New and Best Male.
British singer Adele, currently the biggest selling artist of the year for her mega platinum 21 album has scooped three nominations.
US rockers 30 Seconds to Mars led by Jared Leto have three as does pop singer Justin Bieber.
Foo Fighters will hope to repeat their VMAs success in the Best Rock category, where they are nominated alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kings of Leon and Linkin Park.
Kings of Leon will also be hoping to scoop the award in what has been a difficult year for the US band, following the cancellation of their American tour as singer Caleb Followill was unable to complete the dates.
Coldplay are the sole British act in the category, the London based band are readying fifth LP Mylo Xyloto for release.
Chris Martin and Co and Adele both feature in Best UK and Ireland Act alongside Kasabian, Florence + The Machine and newcomer Jessie J.
Awards veterans Eminem, Jay-Z and Kanye West are all included in the hotly contested Best Hip Hop category.
The 18th Annual MTV EMAs will air live from Belfast’s Odyssey Arena on Sunday, 6th November at 9pm GMT.
