This past week, HooHa Comedy took over Constellations for another evening of laughs with their Christmas Special, hosted by the brilliant Alex Lowe with his Barry from Watford character.
Bringing with him tales from Watford and risque comedy, the night’s hosting duties were taken care of in a great way, interacting with audience members, warming everybody up for what was a joyous night of comedy.
Mark Silcox also took to the stage in a great display of his deadpan comedy chops, attendees said he was definitely a highlight of the evening, his comedy is certainly something that has to be witnessed live.
Barry from Watford took the stage again discussing Iceland’s Christmas bargains, or rather why we should perhaps avoid them during this holiday season…
John Fitzpatrick took to the stage recounting his earlier years of childhood graffiti and later years of seeking to impress a date by cooking a fancy dinner. With a bit of immortality questioning thrown in for great measure. His comedy charm was shown once again. One of our favourites!
Joanne Sarginson was up next, recounting her scribings from her teenage journal, and reminiscing about her very scouse portrayal of a Southern aunt in her school’s production of Oklahoma!
Prosserdamus was up on the stage to discuss emotional connections with strangers in alleyways and to sing a hilarious diddy about the heartbreaking discovery that everybody has faced at least once, leaving a tissue in the wash. Comedic musical performances are always a highlight on Prosserdamus was no exception, HooHa’s John Wilson also joined him to sing about bananas on a string, Barry from Watford joining in for some visual laughs.
All in all, it was a fantastic night, HooHa always is! Perfect way to end the year of great shows in Liverpool,
If you’ve yet to attend a HooHa comedy night, be sure to pop down to see some great comedy in 2018!
