Five time Grammy Winner Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her home in Camden, London.

The Rehab singer has long battled problems with narcotics and alcohol, overshadowing a promising musical career.

As yet there has been no confirmation as to the cause of death, and is being regarded as unexplained by the Metropolitan Police.

Winehouse shot to fame with her debut album Frank in 2003, and then in 2006 was critically acclaimed for her Back to Black album.

The singer was recently in the headlines for pulling out of her European tour, after being too drunk to perform at an acceptable level in Serbia.

The North London resident was 27 when she died.
